WHAT TO BRING ? Dress is informal in our sailing areas;
however it is not acceptable to wear
swimsuits, short shorts or other skimpy
attire into a few towns. Basic clothing
requirements are bathing suits, shorts,
t-shirts, sandals, plus long-sleeved shirts
for the first few days in the sun, as well
as visits to town. For evenings, casual wear
is generally acceptable; however some
restaurants require trousers and jackets.
You will want to bring a pair of sandals, or
old tennis shoes for walking ashore. You
will need good sun protection with a high
blocking factor. Please use creams lotions
and gels NOT oils. Oils leave a slippery
film on the deck that can be dangerous.
Storage place on the yachts is very limited
so luggage should be soft-fold variety, not
hard. It is also advisable to include all
essential items in your hand luggage.
OTHER THINGS TO BRING
Any medication you may need including
seasickness tablets and antihistamine
ointments.
Your own diving mask, binoculars and hand
bearing compass. Blues does provide these
items on your yacht, but many people feel
more comfortable with their own equipment.
Your favorite fishing tackle and rigging
knife.
Camera, film and cassette tapes.
About half of the clothes you thought you
first needed!!
